The Commonry Casting Call

In April 2025, Commonry launched its first open to the public casting call.

The winner would be the face of the Summer 25 campaign, win a 3 year modelling contract with Icon Management, a DPS in the Everywoman Magazine, and a $2000 Commonry Wardrobe.

The Ideation

Commonry has always been committed to representing real women, in all body types, its part of our DNA and what sets as apart.

Unfortunately, the Talent pool is a lot smaller than what’s available in the straight size talent pool, which is crazy because there are so many beautiful women out there with amazing bodies who have probably thought or been told they could never be a model- we’re want to break that narrative and give confidence and opportunity to these women.

Commonry, as a brand, has a real connection to its community, so it is really important to us that our talent resonates with our customer. We were looking for someone who embraces their body and their style, and can inspire confidence in all women of all ages, body types and all backgrounds.

Ally Aoukar - Winner

When selecting our winner, we were looking for someone who could inspire confidence in women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. Ally Aoukar embodies all of this, not just in how she presents herself, but in how she shows up for her family, her business, her community online, and at the casting itself.

Ally’s natural beauty, striking features, and confidence stood out, but it was her story that stayed with us. Her journey to finding health, happiness, and beauty in her body exactly as it is today… that’s real. That’s powerful. And we’re proud to have her representing our brand.
